  • What distinguishes NutriHold from other humic acid or biological products?

Our products are derived from a natural peat deposit that is uniquely rich in a specific form of carbon-rich humus, known as 'mor' humus. Formed from the decomposition of cypress trees and other organic matter over thousands of years, this humus contains populations of soilborne fungi species known to contribute to agricultural soil productivity. The metabolism of these, and other beneficial microorganisms such as bacteria, are supported by the uniquely rich and bioavailable carbon present in our humus base material.

Most other humic acid agricultural soil amendments available on the market are derived from a diferent source known as leonardite, or brown coal. While these humic acid products have benefits for soil quality and plant growth, they lack the unique carbon forms which effectively support populations of beneficial microorganisms. As a result, most other humic acid products available do not contain beneficial biologicals or high levels of organic carbon like NutriHold.

As opposed to humic products containing solely organic acids (humic and/or fulvic acid), NutriHold is a synergistic package comprised of bioavailable carbon, beneficial microbes, and organic acids.
